The Indian civilization is one of the oldest civilizations in the World. It existed over 4000 years ago. India has seen the rise and fall of several rulers who ruled her over this period. Today, India has culture of mix people. It has the largest democracy in the world. Considered a one of the developing nation, India has fast proved her worth in various fields such as medicine, engineering, astronomy and defense. The geographical features and terrain are different through out the country. Desert, Plains, Plateau, snow capped regions, mountain ranges and dense forests can be found in various parts. People belong to different religion and have their own culture and tradition due to which India can be called a cauldron of various culture and tradition. There are a lot of places for tourism in India. It offers something for everyone. There are various historical monuments, religious places and adventure tourism destinations. Traveling in India turns out to be less expensive compared to other developed countries.

Indian peninsula is separated from the Asian continent by the Himalayas. It is surrounded by the Bay of Bengal in the east, Indian ocean in the south and Arabian sea in the west. It has an area of approximately 3.3 million Sq Km. The climate of India varies from one part to the other. Northern India has extreme summer and winter compared to southern parts. English and Hindi are understood over major parts of India. Any time is best to visit India. So get your bags packed and come OVER….. It’s truly Splendid!!
